Now that is a fantastic museum about aviation!
Here you can learn quite a lot about aviation, or participate in restoration or see aircrafts of all eras – “from the modern MQ-1 Predator unmanned drone to the “most accurate recreation of a Wright Brothers’ flyer the Smithsonian Institute has ever seen.” (see the website of the Fargo Air Museum).
Come, and explore a bit with me!
For more info on the planes, see this page
There is the Grumman TBF Avenger – an American torpedo bomber developed initially for the United States Navy and Marine Corps, and eventually used by several air and naval aviation services around the world.
And here is “Boomer” – the North American P-51 D Mustang – the P-51 is perhaps the best-known fighter of World War II. With its Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, the P-51 quickly became the war’s dominant fighter plane. It was thought of as a “knight in shining armor” by the many bomber crews it escorted.
