Nora told me this morning that she has a big surprise for me. I am quite excited. We haven’t been in the sky for about 4 days…does that mean?
Of course, it means going back in good old Cessna 172 and fly again high in the sky. But instead of a sightseeing trip, we land after a short time in Palmdale.
And what a big surprise awaits me. From far away I can see Cooper, and also Paula. We are happy to seeing us again. And then there are lots of other female pilots…its so exciting! They all want to greet me and talk to me. We talk and talk…for hours.
Lori and Ceci are also there, they are the mentors of todays Fly-In of the South West Section of the International Women Pilots Association of the 99s, SWS99s.
Later we fly back home.
