On Sunday, with the temperature at 108 degrees, and Pam’s airplane still in the shop for engine overhaul, I paid a visit to the ACS Sim Center in Lake Havasu AZ.
The ACS Sim Center is offered by John & Frances Irwin (Frances is the Rio Colorado 99s president with whom I flew during the WASP Honor Flight for Edith Smith, and their family business is ACS products, manufacturing aircraft parts & accessories)
In the morning we are at the ACS Sim Center entrance. I directly check out the flight simulator, pretty old school style, eh? But nice!
Then I sit down in the pilot (booster) seat in the Flight sim and start….!
Of course, I fly pretty good! 🙂
And to make it a bit more difficult I take a turn being the flight instructor behind the scenes, making the weather change and failing systems on the airplane simulator….
That makes so much fun!
Thanks, Pam!
