“…prepare for what?” I just wanted to say when I saw a monstrous grey thing heading towards our plane.
“Keep calm, Willow!”, says Anaïs. “And hold on tight. It will be like a gigantic Roller Coaster ride!”
And then we are in the middle of a rumbling storm. It’s suddenly dark as the night and there are really frightening sounds. The plans totters, and I get shaken around in my seat like in a cocktail shaker. But I look at Anaïs, and she is totally quiet. Without any sign of stress, she gets hold of the plane, soon enough we are back in the sunshine.
“Welcome to Chad!”, smiles Anaïs. “This is just the typical storm period of this region. Don’t worry!” And she starts the landing procedure…
A few minutes later we are in N’Djamena, the capital of Chad. We stay her only for a bit to get the Casa charged…obviously some missions awaits us in some isolated areas. I am pretty excited, I have to admit.
