…after the Fly-In in Écuvillens in Switzerland, it is Deborah who shows me around a bit in Bern. But she doesn’t have too much time for this as Natascha – the flying unicorn (is that a great name, or isn’t it?) – will take me to a Fly-in of a different sort.
With Natascha who was one of the first who asked to be part in my Flight Challenge (thanks again for your confidence in me!) I go to Ticino with my first historic plane. Its a Pilatus P3, and what a nice one!
The Pilatus P3 prototype was built in 1953 and was used by the Swiss Air Force and the Brasilian Navy for primary and advanced training until 1983.
And now I am sitting in one and fly over the alps to Germany. What a feeeeee-eeee-eeeeee-eeeeeling!
