Early in the morning at a really sunny day, we arrive in Écuvillens in Switzerland. Its close to Freiburg, and not far away from the impressive alps (Mont Blanc is only 150km apart).
Unfortunately Deborah can’t stay, she has an exam. But there are so many women pilots, so I get handed from one arm to the other. Nice to be popular like this :-)))
But we need to be serious as well.
I check the weather conditions and everything seems to be fine. The wind, the sun…perfect for my first flight here!
Geneviève and Clarisse show me Clarisse’s plane. Really cozy, I have to admit. And really different to the other big planes I have experienced so far. You are really with the elements, you feel every little gust of wind, every change of the conditions. I love it!
Later, I get to know Marianne as well. This is the retired president or the Swiss Women Pilot Association, but she still helps in administrative tasks. I love her big smile!
